Please read the below Rules, Guidelines & Dress Code outlined below with your child. 

Pool Party Rules & Guidelines 

1. Only students who have registered in advance will be admitted.  Graduates must wait outside the side gate of the pool to be checked in. 
2. Pool Waiver form and permission slip must be completed.  
3. A student who is absent or suspended from school is not permitted to attend the pool party.
4. No outside food and/or drinks permitted.  Food and drinks will be provided.
5. Drop-Off/Pick-up for Pool Party:   Side entrance/back parking lot/East Oak Street.
6. No student will be released early to a parent other than his or her own.  Graduates must remain at the pool until 8:00 p.m. and will be released at that time. If a student wants to leave the pool prior to 8:00 p.m., they may only do so if a parent is present to pick them up. 
7. No rough play in or around the water at the pool. Safety is a top priority.
8. Bags brought to the pool party will be subject to search. Towel, cover-up, and sunscreen are all that are needed. No walking around with cell phones, they will need to stay in bags, we don’t encourage photographs being taken in bathing suits. 
9. The PTO is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
10. District policies on drugs, alcohol, and controlled substances (policy # 5131.6) and Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (policy # 5145.2) will be strictly enforced. Please go to the district website to make yourself and your child familiar with these policies. Any student not following these codes will be removed from the celebrations.
11. Graduates will show respect to fellow students and chaperones at all events.

Pool Party Dress Code

Appropriate swimwear is expected for all participants. Thongs, “cheekies” and string bikinis are considered inappropriate for this event. If a bathing suit is deemed unsuitable for a school function, a parent will be called and asked to bring appropriate swimwear before the child can continue to participate in the activities. Girls should bring a tee-shirt or cover-up to wear during the other planned activities.
